News letter from Alaska!
You've been waiting for our news a lot ^^
Since the last prayer letter, we have been notified by the Immigration Department to submit additional documents. And recently I got an email saying that our visas had been extended. Hallelujah!!
Thanks for your prayers, fingerprinting for visa extension to Anchorage went well with a great grace. Thank you!!
Things to be thankful for while visiting Anchorage
- Our plane landed in Anchorage, stopping twice in a five-hour flight. We thank God that we were able to travel safely and healthily.
- We thank God for giving our family accommodation, delicious Korean food, and overflowing love through Wasilla Korean Baptist Church and Anchorage Church of the Nations, giving us great comfort and rest.
-We thank God for being able to go to a Korean mart and buy the sweets that the children love
What I'm most grateful for
We have been here for over a year and we live in southeast Alaska
And I was only thinking about the Haida, Tsimsian and Tlingit native tribes...
Through this time, God has expanded our boundaries.
We've seen how vast and beautiful Alaska is. And it was moved and we thank God for planting in our hearts how much God loves this land.
After all, our God is an awesome God!!^^
Thank you so much for your prayers!

* Sermon and family specials at Wasilla Korean Baptist Church
* Largest museum in Alaska
* Animal Conservation Center (bears are everywhere here ^^)
Second thanks^^
3 months long summer vacation with the kids for the first time...
How are we going to spend 3 months with the kids??...We were a little worried. We went to YWAM Ketchikan Base to work together, and we participated in intercession prayer meetings together. (The kids must have loved them all the time, right? ^^;)
The whole family also participated in the Soup Kitchen ministry for the homeless. We had an opportunity to share the gospel with our neighborhood children who came to our house to play, and we were able to experience God at work through Yeseul and Eun chul, so it was a very grateful time.
Among the children in the neighborhood, there was a girl who came to her aunt's house due to her parents' divorce and various difficulties. She has been to our house a few times. "It's so beautiful to see your family helping each other," she said, and all of us were a little surprised when she suddenly said so. It was a great comfort from God that our family looked beautiful in the eyes of unbelieving children, and I thanked God.

Third thanks
One day, a brother serving in the Troops ministry, a sister from the Tlingit tribe, and her younger brother invited us to a meal. They prepared special gifts for us.
what is this?? I said...
Saying thank you for being good friends...
Homemade..They made hats for native children, necklaces made of animal bones, coin purses and necklace wallets for ID cards.
It was a very moving time and I was really thankful to God. ๐ญ
It's been a year and two months... The Lord is comforting us like this. And I prayed earnestly that I would like to be a good friend of more native tribes.

Finally~
We live in Ketchikan (If you think of Ketchkan as Tuna can, you will soon memorize it^^) which is the first city created in Alaska.
There are many cruise ships around Alaska every summer, and the island where we live is the first course.
So when summer comes... stores that were closed during winter also open. One day I will see more people disembarking from the cruise than those who live on the island, going around the small downtown. When tourists come, they tour the village of Tlingit native and watch native dance. Some of the kids who do that dance come to the Troops we serve.
If you come here someday~~^^
I would like to show you a little bit of that native dance you will see.
This dance is the welcome dance of the native tribal chief. Have fun watching ๐
I believe that one day they will praise and glorify God with their dance.
Please pray together until that day comes...!!

* Bald eagle feathers that only natives can have (He lent me for a while to take a picture ^^)
* The leader of the Tlingit tribe gave us a tour of native culture and history. I'm studying hard
* Exciting board games at Troops
Life here is like a life in which we have to depend on God every day.
It seems that every day I ask the Lord and confess, Lord help me... So thank you so much again. Without the prayers of those who work together... How can we live here?
We truly feel that we are living by the power of prayer. So thank you very much. ๐
And please continue to pray...
Prayer Request ๐
1. Pray that we will always rejoice and pray without ceasing so that everyone in our family will give thanks for everything. Please pray for us to share His love and grace with everyone we meet.
2. Please pray that we can connect with more children and parents through the gospel through Kids Jam(Which is a music program).
3. Please pray for our greater progress in English.
4. God is currently opening the door to a new ministry. Please pray that God will anoint us to do the ministry that He wants us to do.
5. Please pray for the health of brother R,the pastor's wife, sister S and her 3-year-old daughter. And recently Debbie had her heart problems and had a pacemaker implanted. Please pray for her health. She works with YWAM Ketchikan team. This summer...Cooooooool summer^^
We hold this great grace in our hearts and warm and precious memories that the Lord has given us. Now we are entering the season to welcome winter. What kind of day will unfold for us this winter?
Walking with the Lord
Isn't it fun
As our Lord walked
I will follow in His footsteps
Step by step
With the Lord Jesus
Every day every day
We'll walk
I hope that wherever we are,
we can live a life of joy and grace that always walks with Jesus.
With thanks and love
